You messaged me
7:30 at night
Straight away I knew
Something was not right
It's the way you spoke
The way you wrote
The change in style
The lack of emote
I talked to you
Till 1 am
And each minute
Seemed like ten
But eventually..
Days went by
your smile returned
your life got high
you made more friends
cool and tight
I wasn't need anymore
I guess that's alright..
I read your msn message
Saw you were sad
Left you a note
And you seemed glad
You told me the problems
You told me your woes
I was happy to help
And that's how it goes
Your girlfriend had left
Didn't even throw a bone
No second chances
You were all alo
Two Leaves float in the breeze,
One English oak,
One American redwood.
Two smells waft through the air,
An English bakers,
An American hot dog stand.
Even the wind blows the insects,
The gentle English ladybird,
The graceful American butterfly.
Blown in all directions,
Except one,
And all they can do is pray.
And hope,
That one day the wind will change,
And they will be blown together.
Praying.
Hoping.
For eternity.
A single tear leaps from the angels eye,
a spark of life in a lonely sky,
the start of all,
the end of none
brighter than the brightest sun.
A drum echoes in the night,
a sound soon lost from mere sight,
the steady beat,
the shallow roar,
soon it is joined by more.
The gaze of the lord of grey,
stands guard till dawn is day,
the devils cry,
the angels cheer,
as evil is vanquished from here.
From the east a beast does rise,
Darker than the nights skies,
the brave flee,
cowards shake in fear,
as the beast draws ever near.
It leaps through the air,
plunging the city into despair,
a speedy sweep,
The sun set over the horizon as Snowflake trotted down the stone path and a cloak of darkness started to engulf the land. As they continued the long grass gave way to the short and an eagle cawed from above welcoming them to its land. The flat ground started to rise, a wave over earth rising from the calm plains. A breeze ruffled past through their hair as Aero and Leon rode up it with smiles on their faces.
Higher and higher they went, riding for the stars, with only the sound of the wind in the trees and the chirp of the crickets to accompany them. As they rode, the whole world seemed to part for them, leading them to the
Grab my hand,
And put it to your heart.
So you can see,
The journey that can start.
See the future,
Through my eyes.
And let my rhythm,
Fuel your sighs.
Take your finger,
And wipe away my tears.
For only you,
Can remove my liquid fears.
With you by my side,
My heart no longer needs to hide.

Chapter 6
As he slowly regained consciousness, his first sense was of a gentle heat emitting from nearby. This heat seemed to give strength to Sevlir and after a few minutes, he was able to push himself into a sitting position and see the source of the heat. On a nearby rock perched a bird, but it was unlike any other bird that Sevlir had ever laid his eyes upon.
It stood at 3 feet tall and Sevlir guessed it had a wingspan of about 5 to 6 feet from tip to tip. Although it was hard to be sure since its wings were closed at its sides. Its feathers were a range of colours taken from the fire elementals themselves. Scorching reds, proud ora
Chapter 5
When it was clear that there nobody following them, they finally slowed down and dismounted Snowflake, allowing it to finally rest. As Snowflake slumbered, the two humans set up camp, getting ready for the night. No conversation took place between them; each was lost in their own thoughts about what had just happened. Also, neither of them knew anything about the other and so they were both under guard for life that long taught them the meaning of betrayal.
They sat watching around the fire watching the wood burn and each of them occasionally stealing glances at the other. This allowed Leon a chance to get a good look at the p

ch4 valley of the fallen beaks
The rain poured down heavily as Sevlir and Kaerii made their way through the forest towards the valley of the fallen beaks. Not much conversation has taken place between the two, as neither are used to being in the presence of another being for such an extended period of time. They were content to make the journey in silence, each absorbed in their own thoughts.
However, they were both so engrossed in their own thoughts that they did not realise that they were being followed. They didn't see the shadows that stalked their footsteps. Nor did they notice the silence that covered the once active forest. It was as though

He could hear the sound of hooves getting closer. After a while he also started hearing the distinct sound of wheels rolling on the road. As Leon lay in the bushes, he could feel his heart beating against his chest. As the noises got closer, the beating intensified, Leon could almost feel his heart tearing its way out of his chest. Subconsciously, his hand slowly moved and grasped the hilt of his sword. He licked the sweat off from around his lips and kept his gaze firmly fixed on the part of the road that was visible to him.
Then he saw it, a brown stallion rode into view. Upon it was a woman, clad in red and gold armour that covered he

chapter 2: the second quest
Leon rode at a steady pace and was well into the forest by nightfall. He knew it was not safe to travel at night, due to all of the nocturnal predators and the low visibility. He found a relatively clear area next to a large oak and opened his rucksack to extract some bread and a water flask. He dared not light a fire, for fear of attracting unwanted company. After his measly meal, he put the flask back into the sack and took out the photo of the girl that had been in his bedroom. He lay on the grass and slowly drifted to sleep as he gazed at the picture and just before he faded into the darkness of his subconscious, a single tear ran d
